At Luxulyan we believe in people. We believe that  the very best people make the best investment decisions and over time deliver the best risk adjusted returns. This holds true for both, entrepreneurs as well as investment fund managers. We are rigorous collectors of outstanding individual connections. This is a cornerstone of every investment we make.

Private Markets

We are a fundamental supporter of Private Markets, where we encounter on average better governance, more flexibility, and greater levels of entrepreneurial behavior and alignment. We prioritize Private over Public markets, accepting liquidity constraints for greater long-term success.

Projects and Infrastructure

Unlike many cash flow oriented investors such as most PE Funds, we are believers in infrastructure and projects. Recurring cash flows of more product oriented businesses are very appealing without a doubt, yet in our experience, some of the very best opportunities are with long-term infrastructure like investments and particularly project style businesses. With our Founders‘ heritage in projects and infrastructure, we aim at being one of most capable investors in this space.

Focus & Efficiency

We put strong emphasis on close collaboration in a very focused investment approach, on a cautiously selective and limited set of assets and asset classes. We are mindful that good investing requires focus.  We see this as a prerequisite for specialization – a guiding principle for our strategy and our partners. Here, we are working together with a network of the very best fund managers and other family offices in pursuit of a highly efficient investment approach, by helping each other to the benefit of the comprehensive network.

In investing, walking outside the beaten paths should never be an objective by itself.  An independent investment mindset can however be a key ingredient to sustained success.
